I started to revise my anatomy after I realize i was really rusty and I thought that if I had to do it again better do it with a new method. So I choose to follow Andrew Loomis who I just discovered and heard that a lot of artist started with him. And now after a few months following his way, I discover myself drawing characters moving. It just feel so good when you realize your improvement.

Patterns
I always like to use patterns in my drawings (here is some of my less old ones lightnings, diana f+) but I never really work on it. So when somebody give me this book "Mille et une nuits, 100 coloriages anti-stress" (Thousand and one nights, Coloring book anti-stress), I started to practice my drawing patterns skills, copying and then trying to do my own. Since then I find, for myself that starting to draw by praticing patterns get rid of this pressure that I have to make something perfect when i pick up my pencil.
Here is the cover of the book I was saying, followed by the copy from it :
And now by the one I am trying to come up with :

Dublin Sketchers
Hi everyone, I know it's been a really long time since I haven't post anything and I am truly sorry but I was busy trying to put my life back in order.
Now that I am getting to it, here is a quick summary of the last few months. And I apologize also for the bad quality of my drawings, my scanner stayed in France.
I am gonna start to talk about Dublin Sketchers, a group I talked about in a few previous post, here, here and here. This group meet every sunday at 14h in a different place everytime to enjoy sketching and after 2 hours of drawings everybody goes in a little coffee place to share their drawing and meet new people. If you want to know more about them you can go on their website dublinsketchers or follow them on their twitter, facebook or on plein eire.
