What happened today

Here is an exercice I decided to do by practicing Bande Dessinée (Comics). It's really simple, I draw what happened during my day, it's the easyest way to start to draw a story, I guess. And I also want to try different styles each time. Again so sorry for the bad quality :-S
So voila my two first!

Anatomy

I started to revise my anatomy after I realize i was really rusty and I thought that if I had to do it again better do it with a new method. So I choose to follow Andrew Loomis who I just discovered and heard that a lot of artist started with him. And now after a few months following his way, I discover myself drawing characters moving. It just feel so good when you realize your improvement.

St Mary Magdalen

Painting at the National Gallery of Ireland.
While I was copying this painting, a security guard came to ask me why did I choose this one, he exactly said "seriously, this one!?". I didn't understand why he was asking about my choice but then he starts to explain that the National Gallery have an other Felice Ficherelli's painting, and he always find this one strange. So he compare the two painting and he realise it was the same model for the two of then except that on the other one it was a man, meaning on this one the painter add breast so why they look a bit weird.
After I finish to draw he came back to me and told me a lot of anecdotes about a few other painting. So if you ever go in Dublin and particularly at the National Gallery, try to look for Tony, he will share a lot of things with you and will have a really good time.

Le Fritting and some little things

I start to go running with a friend a few weeks ago and we pick up this new habit, when we have finish our jogging we go buy a bag of chips each (of course). So fritting is a mix between frite (=chips) and jogging.
Here the translation just follow the direction to see who is talking :
"That's it we run 10 minutes."
"We walk a little bit!"
"Then chips.(bread, Pringles)"
"Ok"
"We deserve it."
"Sure."
